Scholarship Deadlines
John Panamarioff Sr., Scholarship (graduate and undergraduate) students must submit an application for each school year.
For semesters: applications must be received by:

November 1 (spring)
For vocational and career enhancement: applications must be received 7 days before classes begin. Ouzinkie Native Corporation does not provide reimbursements or retroactive funding.
For Youth (preschool through high school) Scholarships:
Students may apply as many times as desired as long as he or she does not receive more than $300 total per calendar year.

For the Naqpneq Scholarship :
​
Funding is limited to $1,000 per calendar year, available to Ouzinkie Native Corporation Shareholders and registered descendants to attend cultural, trainings, camps, or events. Examples of the types of cultural trainings, camps or events that qualify for funding include culture camps, beading, mask carving, and Alutiiq language classes.

Your application must be submitted within 14 days of the class start date.

Ouzinkie Native Corporation (ONC) provides six different types of scholarships to its shareholders and descendants: undergraduate, graduate, career enhancement, vocational, youth, and Napneq. In 2023, the ONC Board of Directors approved over $202,000 in financial assistance to shareholders and their descendants to assist them as they pursue higher education, vocational training and youth development programs.

Ouzinkie Native Corporation John Panamarioff Sr. Scholarship Program
It is the policy of Ouzinkie Native Corporation (ONC) to provide financial assistance to shareholders and shareholder descendants pursuing higher education or vocational training.
The John Panamarioff, Sr. Scholarship Program was established by the corporation to assist eligible recipients in their quest to further their education at nationally or regionally accredited Institutions. Further, this program was established to provide financial assistance in a fair and consistent manner to eligible recipients.
